The sum of creation cannot compare to the majesty of our God. From the dust we came forth in, to the highest joys and achievements we attain, our Lord is greater still. In pain and sorrow His ways are good. From the void earth to the wonder of nature He is creator, author, potter, painter, authority and ruler of all. Our great God in perfect mercy chose to be made flesh to conquer sin, death and the grave. The highest of all heights, the most powerful in heaven and earth was made low as a man. He was scorned, beaten and mocked. He withstood bitter sorrow that He might pierce the darkness of this world with His marvelous light. In an aimless land He carved out a path. He made a way for our rescue. He set forth our salvation because He is a savior worthy to be praised. He is worthy of all. From my humble memories in my families’ orchard on a small hill in rural Pennsylvania I remember feeling so small at the view from that hill. The fruit that adorned its trees dates it’s lineage back to the garden of the fall. The ground beneath our feet remembers the flood. The memories. The future. All of time and eternity are held together by our worthy creator.
