The Story Behind Be A Light: It is where he called His disciples, where water was turned to wine. Where stormy seas were made still, where He preached, where He healed. Galilee is a special place. Before the cross, Christ told His disciples that He was to go before them to Galilee, and that is exactly what He did. As you light this candle dwell on the fact that our God is a God who keeps His word as spoken, who fulfills His promises to those who love Him. We chose the verse above because so often in the scriptures Jesus would withdrawal from the large crowds to the mountain overlooking the Sea of Galilee and pray in stillness. In a busy world let us not forget to devote intentional time spent with our savior. This candle is how we imagine the scent would be from that mountain overlooking the sea with coastal grasses, sea salt and citrus mints.
